On the 14th July 1933, the Nazi Government, with the emanation of the "Law for the prevention of progeny with hereditary diseases" takes its first steps towards the objective of creating a superior Aryan race passing from extermination, to euthanasia, to extermination. Therefore, setting up a propaganda campaign against PwDs, branding them "Lives not worth living", "useless eaters" and "economic burden to society", which goes on until the autumn of 1939 to the medical-administrative programme denominated in code “Aktion T4”.

The extermination of PwDs (approximately 275.000) continued in care institutions and concentration camps until the fall of Nazism. The project, which has as target, the teachers and students of higher secondary schools, has as general objective the increase of knowledge on the Nazi extermination of PwDs so that, comprehending from the errors that generated the tragedy in the 900s, young people may recognize the signs of violence and discrimination that may cause the re-emergence, in contemporary society, of Nazi eugenics (Thesis by Peter Singer, Maastricht protocol, etc.).
